Say This Today(“we”, “us”) operates a website and service that generates personalized bedtime stories for children, using information you provide about your child (name, age, and a description of a challenge or theme) to produce a written and illustrated story. The service is intended to be used by adults (parents, guardians, or teachers) on behalf of a child.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account or make a purchase. The service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 (see our Privacy Policy for details on information submitted about a child by a parent, guardian, or teacher).
Stories are sold individually, billed once at the price shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase, with no recurring subscription. Prices are shown in US dollars and processed through Stripe. You can preview the opening pages of a story before purchasing.
Because each story is generated specifically for your child at the time of purchase, purchases are generally final once the full story has been unlocked. If something went wrong with your order, such as a technical error, a story that clearly failed to generate correctly, or a duplicate charge, contact us and we will make it right.
You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of the information you submit about your child (or, for teachers, about your students or classroom). Do not submit information about a child that you are not authorized to share, and do not use the service to generate content that is harmful, hateful, or unsafe for the age group it’s intended for.
Once you’ve purchased a story, you may read, download, print, and share it privately (for example, with family) for personal, non-commercial use. We retain the underlying illustration assets and generation system; you do not acquire rights to reuse, resell, or redistribute the illustrations or story text commercially.
Teachers who create an account to use the classroom features are responsible for complying with their school’s and jurisdiction’s policies on collecting and using student information, including obtaining any parental consent required by law before submitting identifying information about a student.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We’ll make reasonable efforts to give notice of material changes that affect stories you’ve already purchased.
The service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Say This Today is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
